MESSAGE OF THE WEEK

MONTH OF MAY “WALKING INTO YOUR BLESSING”PSALM 37:1- END

“THOUGH YOU STUMBLE, YOU WILL NOT FALL”

PSALM 37:24 “Though he stumble, he will NOT fall, for the Lord upholds him with His mighty hand.”

Stumbling is part of the fallible nature of humanity. Human as we are, we are capable of making mistakes, and the dangerous part is that some of the mistakes can lead to drastic and fatal falls that can jeopardize our lives forever.

But thanks be to God, who has made us righteous, and by Virtue of His righteousness He orders our steps and even when we sometimes ignore His orders, go our own ways and stumble, He still upholds us and never allows us to fall.

In verses 25 and 26 the Lord says we will never be  forsaken, neither will He allow our Children go begging for bread. Rather we will be generous and lend freely, and our children will be blessed.

All that the Lord requires of us is to maintain the righteousness He has bestowed on us by Turning from Evil and doing good ( Vs. 27). The Lord will not forsake us if we remain faithful, but rather he will protect us forever (Vs. 28 & 29).

PSALM 37:32 & 33 - “The wicked lie in wait for the righteous, seeking their very lives; but the Lord will not leave us in their power, neither will he let us be condemned when brought to trail.”
